Often life seems to happen to us. There are so many things out of our control.
After graduating from Saint Anselm College in 2016 I decided I wanted to experience somewhere new and attempted build a career in South Florida where my mom had moved a year earlier.

I purchased and renovated a cute condo, owned my own P&C Insurance Agency and had a promising career in Real Estate Title Insurance all with warm weather year round. Yet I found myself unsatisfied with my surroundings.
As time continued to pass, I realized I would never be fulfilled living so far from the majority of my family and friends.
This realization sparked my decision to move my life back to Boston, where I picked up a second job as a waitress at Boston Logan Airport and met so many people who discussed their home countries, families, and goals with me. I came to find that these people's entire lives were being dictated by where they were and where they wanted to be. Many of the people I spoke to came to the United States from South America or the Dominican Republic, and they were either: trying to advance their lives in the US with the ones they love or working day-in and day-out, stocking up enough cash in order to get back to their home country and start a stable life with the people they love.
If you want to change your life and take control of your happiness: Adjust your location and be near the people you love; those who inspire and encourage you.
